ABOUT ME

Me

I’m Isa Silvano, a Brazilian photographer with over two decades of experience, dedicated to portraying people, stories and experiences with sensitivity, presence and authorship.

My photography is born from connection — from shared time, attentive observation and genuine listening. I’m drawn to images that reveal what is real, with delicacy, elegance and emotion, and that remain meaningful long after the moment has passed.

I have been working as a photographer since 1997. Over the years, I’ve built a solid career with work published in magazines, books and editorial projects in Brazil and abroad. My first international project came through an invitation from the Portuguese Chamber of Brazil, for the Gastronomic Route of Portugal, with images published in both countries.

I work independently and authorially, taking full responsibility for the entire creative process — from photography to final editing — ensuring consistency, care and exclusivity in every project.

I speak fluent English and Italian, native Portuguese, and have basic knowledge of Greek, Spanish and Swedish. Communication is part of the experience and is never a barrier.

My Perspective

I am a portrait photographer.

I photograph people in different moments of their lives — individually, with their families or within shared experiences — always guided by presence, authenticity and the essence of each story.

I’m also drawn to visual narratives connected to gastronomy, food rituals and sensory experiences, approaching this universe in an authorial and editorial way, as a natural extension of my gaze on people and encounters.

I accept carefully curated projects, when there is alignment with the story, the time required and the intention behind the images.

What You Should Know

I work with time, attention and purpose.
I don’t produce in volume.
I don’t replicate styles.

Each project is conceived as a unique experience, built on trust and connection.

If you value images that endure beyond the moment, I would be honored to photograph a part of your story.
